• NFC range is less than 0.2 meters vs. Bluetooth range is 10 meters
• NFC is more suited to point to point transactions
• The close range for NFC transactions reduces interference from other always on network devices
• NFC works with devices is not powered by a battery, including NFC embedded phone covers, smart posters, contactless smart credit card
